Citizen of the Year Award

At our Installation Banquet, two community members were awarded the Club’s Citizen of the Year Award. This award is given yearly to individuals whose work attempts to improve lives for many in or around Craven County.

This year the recipients were Jeff Schulze (left), Director of Trade Programs for the Volt Center, and Eddie Foster (right), Dean of the Volt Center. The Volt Center is a workforce development training center that offers hands-on learning in various trades sponsored by Craven Community College and the Craven Community College Foundation.  Programs are designed to help the under employed and the unemployed.

These men are one of the reasons that this program has such a high success rate.  Thank you, Jeff and Eddie, for your service to many in our area.
