Feed Craven is a non-profit food pantry serving Eastern North Carolina. It operates separately from, but in partnership with, The Church at New Bern. Their Community Outreach Coordinator, Tamara Carroll, addressed our meeting on August 24th.
Ms. Carroll has been an entrepreneur for over forty years and has been key to getting the word out about Feed Craven. She tries to develop relationships and conveys its financial needs to the community. Feed Craven operates with a team of about 25 volunteers, aged 16 to late 70s, and they feed approximately 500 people per month.
Their goal is to partner with local organizations in New Bern for food drives and monthly support or even a one-time gift to fund their mission.
